Sirius
Sirius, built during the 2023-2024 school year, focuses on reducing system complexity to enhance efficiency and reliability.For the first time, Sirius features a welded lunchbox-style UHPV and uses the ZED camera as the forward camera. The mechanisms are now powered by underwater servos, a significant change from last year’s hydraulics.The UHPV integrates the killswitch and gx sensor, which previously had separate enclosures. Additionally, the torpedo and dropper systems have been consolidated into a single system controlled by a camshaft.
