The role of the IT subgroup is to provide a technical service and support infrastructure for the team to help ease the development of the submarine.  These include software tools such as subversion software and the internal team wiki and hardware updates to team equipment. The team also maintains the technical aspects of the website and investigates new services that may be beneficial for CUAUV.
