CUAUV is recruiting for the 2009-2010 school year! If you are interested in joining the team, you need to do the following:

1. Come to one of our information sessions:

Wednesday, Sept. 2: Phillips 219 4:30-6:30 pm

Friday, Sept. 4: Phillips 203 4:30-6:30 pm

Saturday, Sept. 5: Appel 303A 4:30-6:30 pm

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Sunday (Sept. 6) Recruitment Information Session has been moved from RPCC 205 (Auditorium) to Appel 303A. The time of the session will remain from 3:30-5:30pm. See you there!

2. Submit an application using the form that will be distributed at the information session. There is a general application, plus addendums that are discipline dependent.

• Applications are due on Monday, Sept. 7.
• There is a red folder on the door of Phillips 116 for collecting applications.

3. We will call candidates in during the week on Sept. 7 for interviews, which will be scheduled on an individual basis.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 4:00 and 10:00.

We are not going to ask you questions like "How many pennies does it take to stack as tall as the Empire State Building". Expect questions based on your responses to the Interests and Skills sections. We will ask questions in detail about any projects you've done. If you can, bring in a demo of your projects (a picture, a model, etc). If you have had design experience in an area we are interested in, expect an on-the-spot design question. Come with a few topics that you are excited to talk about. Dress comfortably.
